The movie has recorded wonderful pre-released response and made 3.60 crores with its paid premiere only, that was held on 16th September in Gurgaon at Leisure Valley Park. As per the report, 2 lacs people across the country attended the event that day. This shows the love and belief of fans for their mentor Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
On its first day, MSG 2 recorded the overall occupancy of 70% in India and done the business of 6.75 crores. On the next day i.e. on Saturday being weekend movie showed good growth and minted the amount of approx. 8 crores* as its second day collection. Till the end of 2 days at box office, the total collection of the movie is estimated as 14.75 crores*.
Now Sunday is there, which always results in better for Bollywood movies. Today MSG 2 has started with highest occupancy and also witnessed increment from evening shows. As per the reports from theaters, its third day collection is estimated to be near about 10 crores*. As audience showing extreme craze towards MSG 2, it seems that the movie will get nice response in weekdays too.
