Could SRK have done Bajrangi Bhaijaan instead of Salman?

I don't think SRK could have pulled off Bajrangi Bhaijaan the way Salman Khan did, I don't think any actor could have.

But saying that SRK can't act or just hams is obviously hatred speaking. When SRK decides to act,

he acts better than most actors in the industry.

Swades, Chak De, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, etc were most definitely not flukes.

Srk would have overacted in whole movie like he did in CE. So no is the answer.

doesn't Shahrukh have a back, shoulder, knee problem? He can't carry Munni all the way to Pakistan . So no. Munni would have to carry him half way which is physically not possible...

Can Salman even dream of doing something like Swades?

Not everyone can do every role.

Name itself is so beefed up - Bajrangi Bhaijaan - that movie was written keeping Sallu in mind, I'm sure... maybe a Sanjay dutt, if not Salman... but defo not SRK.

Edit add: Akki, wouldn't have been a bad choice either, I think 🤔

DDLJ is still playing in Maratha Mandir from so many years so we even Srk has star power 😳 n now coming to BB it had a fab story its not like its running only due to Salman star power. Jai Ho jaisi movie agar chalti phir main star power manta bcoz the movie had a bad n boring story, now coming to the main question Yes Srk could have done BB agar usse movie milti 😊

Agree with you.Role looked like a tailor made one for Salman.Both physicality and image wise.I think Kabir reworked the script and lead character sketch after Salman signed the dotted line!
