Kareena and Hrithik last worked together in Sooraj Bharjatiya's "Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon" in 2003. It was a big flop and so were the other two films in which they starred together - "Yaadein" and "Mujhse Dosti Karogi."
"Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" was the only film that did justice to their chemistry.
So why did the two never work together? Well, it is said that the stories of their link-up began to cause a lot of trouble in their personal life and Hrithik did want it to affect his marriage. So they refrained from signing any movies together.
After Hrithik's divorce, it looked like the actor was finally ready to do a film with Kareena once again. They were approached for "Shuddhi," and both gave their nod, but things didn't work out.
The two haven't worked with each other for 12 years now, and somebody needs to offer them a movie together asap.
Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan
Their pairing was much-loved in the movies "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" and "Salaam-E-Ishq," but the two actors haven't worked together since 2008. Their last film together was "God Tussi Great Ho," which tanked at the box office.
Here's what allegedly caused a rift between the two stars. It is said that Salman offered Priyanka a role in "Main Aur Mrs Khanna," but the actress committed to another movie. Salman was quite miffed. Around the same time Priyanka was being approached to star with him in "London Dreams," but apparently Salman wanted his then girlfriend to be cast. But things didn't work out with that and finally, Asin was signed.
The two have sorted out their differences though and now is a good time for them come back to the big screen together. Fans of the two stars have been hoping that Priyanka is cast opposite Salman in "Sultan," but its mere speculation for now.
Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor
Ranbir and Sonam made their debut tgoether in the year 2007. The film tanked at the box office and the two never worked together. The inside story is that Ranbir and Sonam had started dating each other during the making of the film, but Ranbir decided to move on soon after the release of the film as he started falling for Deepika Padukone, during the making of his second film "Bachna Ae Haseeno."
Sonam and Ranbir haven't really gotten along after that. But now that Ranbir has moved into a much happier space with his personal life, and Sonam is also doing well for herself, we would like to check out if they can create some on screen chemistry or not! After all, we don't want their pair to be remembered just for a debacle like "Saawariya," right? But we doubt if that's going to happen in the next few years!
