Final budget is not 40-50 crs rofl its only production minus P&A cost and UTV share. its only sajid's quote. For boxoffice run the target is much higher. landing cost bhi ek cheez hai.

Comparing phantom's and piku's opening which released in less than half the number of screens of phantom and then gloating over it.Very logical and sensible.

To those people who are saying Katrina has more BO pull than Deepika because Phantom made more first day than Piku need a reality check. Phantom released around 2500 screens while Piku released in 1300 screens. Piku still made 5.32cr first day with being released more than 1000 screens less than Phantom. Granted that Phantom was not a family entertainer like Piku but it was hugely helped by the whole controversy that has been going on since the past few weeks.

Anyway, I'm not trying to say that Deepika is a bigger star than Katrina but all I'm saying you can't compare the business of the two movies because they ARE completely different in various different aspects whether content or commercially.

Its done well enough. TBH I didnt care for this movie or its stars. But after the aggressive posturing by some members about the Ind-Pak issues I want it to do well. Garib Nawab hi sahi...par apni cheez...apni hoti hain.
