As reported by BizAsia earlier this month, the makers of the Aashiqui' franchise are apparently keen to cast Hrithik Roshan for the third installment. News now has it that Deepika Padukone may be seen opposite Roshan in the film.
If these reports materialise to be true, then it will be the first time Roshan and Padukone unite for a film. It can be noted that Roshan recently shot for a tribute video to Dheere Dheere Se from Aashiqui' (1990) alongside Sonam Kapoor.
While the first Aashiqui' was directed by Mahesh Bhatt, Aashiqui 2' (2013) was directed by Mohit Suri. It is not yet known whether Suri will also direct the third film of the musical romance franchise.
