Anyone who enjoys a decent thriller would like it. Nothing exceptional, but you wont regret watching it either.

Out of the two Kabir Khan films, BB is definitely the better one. The editing and screenplay feel choppy at some places, and daniyal and nawaz's backstories are poorly realized. But the thriller element and cat-and-mouse chase sequences kept me hooked.

I didn't think Saif's performance was anything exceptional. Kat was adequate, although I do note that she has become a more natural crier onscreen. Zeeshan is terrific as usual.

Coming to the climax, it definitely tugs at the heart. And when I saw the reporters talking about how hundreds of Mumbaikars have gathered at the taj for celebration, it almost felt like I was watching a movie based on a true incident. Sadly the justice and closure the country is looking for is yet to come.

I give it 2.75/5

I admire Kabir's vision, but in all honesty I think it's one of the poorer action-thrillers to come out of BW

Did Masand like it? Anupama, Raja sen, Shubhra Gupta, Anirudha Guha, Hindustantimes, The Hindu and Koimoi reviews are all on negative side. Most are 2 stars and 2 and half. awful for a supposed content base movie. Ab Masand aur Fadnavis Mihir baki hai.

Phantom picked up pretty well in the evening and should record business in the 7.75 crore nett range. The business in the morning suggested lower numbers but as can happen with films that are low on music and youth entertainment, these types can do better in evenings and this has happened with Phantom.

The collections are similar to Baby and better than Drishyam and both these films had more face value. There is a long way to go for the film but this gives it a platform to build on and with Raksha Bandhan on Saturday it should get a solid jump though ideally it should be a big jump.

The film does have low numbers in CPCI Rajasthan, Gujarat and Bihar and if these jump big on Saturday and Sunday it will really set up the film but that will be tough so will be depended the metros, still the film is in a much better position than it was in the morning.
