Hrithik is talented in every department: looks, acting, dance, charisma. He is also a hard worker. Is he the only star kid that would probably still be a superstar even if he weren't a star kid?

he is but imagine if he weren't a star kid. There are many talented actors out there but only few get the chance to become a superstar.

About Ranbir, it could go either way. He is a really good actor but at the same time he is sort of good looking i guess and a good dancer. But for an outsider, you need to be exceptional for anybody to notice you or give you a small chance. Commitment wise, he is also not a perfectionist/workaholic like HR or SRK.

Yes. His first film made him a superstar. Other stat kids gets many chances to make it, Hrithik made it with his first. Not many directors or producers were lining up to sign him, he's not really a star kid as such cos his dad was a flop actor but a successful producer/director. He got a nice film to debut but it wasn't extraordinary in terms of role or script. It was Hrithik's hard work and charisma that made a mediocre film a blockbuster ..

Oh please, we all know he's only here because of his looks and connection. He's by far the most overrated actor. Should have just been back up dancer 😛

I think Ranbir does too. Industry connections can only help one get work but superstardom depends on the said actor proving his/her mettle otherwise they disappear like Fardeen and Abhishek. They're both underrated as actors but they never had the superstar quality to carry the film on their shoulders.

I don't know if Lolo was ever considered a superstar per se (I know she was a star though) but she deserved her success as well.

The only star kid who I feel deserved a lot of success and never got it is Vivek Oberoi. Brilliant actor, decent dancer and likeable screen-presence. Unfortunately should've been careful about certain things off-screen.

No.

He's not really a star kid per say as his father was never a star. He was a flop actor who resorted to directing producing because his acting career didn't of anywhere. So in that regard Hrithik is in the same boat as Aamir and Salman.

I think his acting is over rated. I think while he has a very beautiful face something about his features seem too perfect and unnatural too me so overall I don't find him as attractive or handsome as a lot of others. He's a great dancer but once again his dancing is too perfect. You don't get the feeling for the fun and essence of the song because you are too busy watching his fluid body. Overall I enjoy Shahid's dances in JWM much more than Hrithik's in D2.

He seems to be hard working and deserves his success. But I don't think he's the only one who deserves it, or that he necessarily deserves it more than other industry kids. I'm sure India is full of handsome talents wonderful dancers. Fact is Hrithik like many others before him, and many others after him, got his chances and his major launch because of his family.
