Err but why would guari shinde remake Daddy ? Thought Bhatts were interested in doing that as they talked about it.Also didn't Guari say about having her own script or something ?

All eyes were raised when Karan Johar posted on twitter that a big announcement is coming up. And while all kinds of speculations started doing the rounds, the announcement that KJo has made is indeed a BIG one!

Karan has collaborated with his best friend Shah Rukh Khan, who has signed Gauri Shinde's next. Not just that, but the King of Bollywood is paired opposite the latest sensation Alia Bhatt.

The ace filmmaker and producer got on to twitter and posted the same. He tweeted, "Red Chillies Entertainment...Dharma and Hope Productions are proud to present Gauri Shinde's next starring...SHAH RUKH KHAN and ALIA BHATT..

The film sees Shah Rukh and Dharma Productions' come together almost after a gap of five years, the last one being 'My Name Is Khan' which released in 2010. The film will be jointly produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, Karan's Dharma Productions and Hope Productions.

Well well... Now it couldn't get bigger than this! We are already excited to see Alia and Shah Rukh in the same frame together!

And am not sure SRK will attempt father roles as of now even if he did I think he will not do it with a rising star like Alia coz it ages him onscreen particularly when he is hellbent on beating records with films like Dilwale.

I think its a mature love story.Something along the lines of movie Nishabdh.
