What a tease!

We rate the trailers and teasers of the upcoming films of 2015 and 2016 that have released so far...

What a tease!

It's raining trailers and teasers! While some are of films that will hit the screens in no time, some have a good year to go before their release. While a few handpicked ones impress, the others just depress.

We compile the trailers and teasers of the upcoming films of 2015 and 2016 that have released so far and tell you what's hot and what's not about em. Check out our ratings...

Trailer of All Is Well

Rating: 6/10

Release date - 21st August 2015

Going by the trailer, this one's going to be yet another mindless laugh riot with an obvious dramatic twist. But we like the comic camaraderie between Rishi Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan. The fresh pairing of Abhishek and Asin will be something to look out for too. But that aside, the trailer looks pretty blah. Also, there is hardly any buzz around the film or its music for that matter despite all the rigorous promotional activity.

Trailer of Phantom

Rating: 7/10

Release date - 28th August 4, 2015

The tagline of the film suggests that it's a story we wish were true'. Well, this one's meant to hit straight home. An Indian spy is out on a mission to launch an attack on the masterminds behind the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. The trailer was appreciated on various social media platforms and did create quite a buzz. Phantom might just give Saif Ali Khan the much desired hit his career needs.

Trailer of Welcome Back

Rating: 6/10

Release date - 4th September 2015

The team of Welcome (2007) is back! This one's the kind of film where you're strictly supposed to leave your brains back home to enjoy the silly logic defying sequences. From what we see in the trailer, Welcome Back is giving us major dj vu as nothing has changed with regards to the plot - the gangster brothers are in search of a groom for their lil' sister. Just that this time around it's not a bhola bhala common man but a tapori. The locations are grander; Naseruddin Shah joins the cast and a bunch of people jump off helicopters straight into the desert. But it's going to be another joy ride and we can thank the mind blasting trio of Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Paresh Rawal for that already! We bet John as a tapori is a bonus.

Trailer of Hero

Rating: 7/10

Release date - 11th September 2015

A remake of the 1983's Hero, this one serves as the perfect launch pad for star kids Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi. Obviously it's the same ol Hero with a modern twist but the pairing is fresh and we're loving their crackling chemistry. But sadly, despite coming from Salman Khan's banner, the trailer hasn't created any sort of hype or anticipation. But we can say that this flick has what it takes to become a youth favourite given the hotties in question.

Trailer of Katti Batti

Rating: 7.5/10

Release date - 18th September 2015

We love their new looks, we love the double meaning gestures and we love the fun and sexy vibe. But, isn't Katti Batti giving a very urban Tanu Weds Manu feel? Well, #justsaying. That minor doubt aside, this quirky tale of the heartbroken and the heartbreaker surely makes it to our can't wait for it' list.

Trailer of Shaandaar

Rating: 9/10

Release date - 22nd October

Seven seconds into the trailer and Vikas Bahl tells you that Shaandaar is nothing like your stereotypical rom-com. The spunky duo's chemistry leaves you wanting more but Sasha's adorable camaraderie with father Pankaj Kapur is a delight. A destination wedding set-up tangled with the right amount of romance and laugh-out-loud moments, this 3-minute long trailer has set our expectations sky high. And Alia Bhatt strolling on a beach looking breathtaking in a bright pink bikini... made your jaws drop, didn't it?

Teaser of Bajirao Mastani

Rating: 10/10

Release date - 18th December 2015

This sort of epicness happens when you combine a heroic Ranveer Singh, a vulnerable Priyanka Chopra and a fierce Deepika Padukone. And place them in a high on grandeur Sanjay Leela Bhansali magnum opus. Bajirao Mastani has box-office dhamaka written all over it!

Teaser of Fan

Rating: 9.5/10

Release date- 15th April 2016

Shah Rukh Khan. One man who can make billions and billions of people scream out an ear-numbing shout in any corner of this globe... with just one wave of his hand. Gives you goosebumps, doesn't it? This minute-long teaser shows us the phenomenon that SRK is and leaves us with a glimpse of his biggest fan. Interesting as hell, SRK says it's a tribute to his fans. Must watch? Hell yeah!

Teaser of Sultan

Rating: 8/10

Release - Eid 2016

A teaser to the T, Salman Khan in and as Sultan has left all 'Bhai' fans ecstatic. The continuous wrestling commentary gets you all jittery and the obvious expectation is that we'll sneak a quick look at Salman Khan in the end. But sigh, the teaser ends without a glimpse of Salman. Nevertheless, this teaser sans Bhaijaan created quite a thunderstorm on the Internet. Imagine the havoc otherwise!

Teaser of Raees

Rating: 10/10

Release - Eid 2016

That rustic gangster voice, the lion-like walk, and boy, when he glares in the last bit and say aa raha hoon'... It sends a chill down one's spine.

Showcasing SRK in a badass gangster avatar combined with Rahul Dholakia's brilliant storytelling skills, this Baniya is surely going to loot the box-office with his Miyaan bhai ki daring.

Raes and BM rightfully deserve a 10 :))
I would give Phantom a 6, Katti Batti an 8 and Shandar an 8.
