Remember the Bajrangi Bhaijaans 2002 hit-and-run case verdict by the Mumbai Sessions Court and the following decision by the Mumbai High Court had created so much drama around his Dubai event. Well, seems like the Dabangg Khan who was amidst so much pressure found humour even in tough situation...
Salman Khan's last visit to Dubai was around May end. Yes, after much debate and discussion around his court case the actor did manage to get permission to keep up his commitment of performing at the Arab Indo Bollywood Awards this year. The actor was seen rehearsing for his act and in fact Salman also crooned on stage. However, here's some more goss from the AIBA stage. We' sure you will get to see it on air when you watch the show on Zee TV over the weekend. But we decided to reveal this to you first. So, Salman Khan poked fun at Varun Dhawan and did melodrama around his exit from Karan Johar's Shhuddhi, but did you know that Sallu also had a funny take on his hit-and-run case?
It seems debutant director Sajid Nadiadwala went on stage to receive his award for Kick, the filmmaker said, "Making the film was so nerve-wrecking that I probably wouldn't make another movie for the next five to six years." To which, Salman in his inimitable style added, "That's because I have no dates available."
Clearly the event took place around the time of his court verdict that suggested that Salman serve five years in prison. No wonder Salman without mentioning his case went on to make a light-hearted remark about his imprisonment. We hear that everyone present there was left in splits including his Kick director.
