Deepika Padukone & Sushant Singh Rajput in The Fault In Our Stars

For a while now, the rumour mills have been buzzing about a remake of the Hollywood film, The Fault In Our Stars, which is based on the best-selling novel by John Green. After much speculation, we finally have word that Deepika Padukone and Sushant Singh Rajput have been signed on to play the lead pair in the teenage love story. The film, untitled as of now, will be directed by Homi Adajania, whose last directorial outing was Finding Fanny in 2014. The director is all set to recreate the love story between two teenagers affected with cancer. Deepika and Sushant will play Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters respectively, the characters essayed by Shaileen Woodley and Ansel Elgort in the Hollywood original. While these details already have us guessing at the plot details and other members of the ensemble, it looks like we'll have to watch this space for more updates.
