still it flopped. It didn't recover it's cost...jitna kamaya utna toh salman ne fees le liye😆...where is profit?btw salman was a flop at the time jalwa came out... he even played sidey to aksahy(Mujse shaadi karogi), SRK(karan arjun) Amir(andaz apna apna) Sohail khan(god tussi great ho)...he got lucky with dabang though

That was the decade when a lot went wrong for Salman Khan. While Salman Khan was favoring his friends and buddies, Shahrukh Khan was concentrating on his career. Salman had personal issues, court cases etc which effected his career. In this period, Shahrukh Khan was very much supported by biggest banners of the country, YRF and Dharma Productions. Out of his 11 clean hits, 7 were with YRF & Dharma Productions. But Salman was never out of the game. Have a look:

Though this decade is not over but we are almost half through this decade. We are aready in the 5th year of this decade. After an disaster decade, no one was expecting Salman Khan to come back strongly, but Salman Khan came with a bang and got a stardom which only a few in the history of Bollywood have ever gotten (Super Stardom Of The Salman Khan). This world is full of mean people.

Salman did many films for his friends because he is like that, too supportive of people in industry and his loved ones, but people will only see it as flops.

But to his fans those were the movies he did for his friends and there is nothing wrong with that he can do whatever he wants :-)
