@quixotic

I am open to debate.

But it is not right if someone denies entirely or keeps claiming it was the only way out, it was necessary or discusses other things but not this specific issue.

Just certain words made me react later, in ways you talked of.

Usually politicians also skirt the issue by saying certain things. Whereas honestly it is not Hindu vs Sikh only. It was dirty politics.

Otherwise like I said, even Hindu members have shared their experiences and info on this issue here.

It's lost if things get reduced to Hindu-Sikh only. Some things are not justified. Some things are avoidable and rather tactical errors. There were reasons why non Sikhs have also written on this.

@ Quixotic, I am not a Sikh, I am a Bengali Brahmin but I have heard similar things while growing up as well. History can be very well manipulated, you know that.
I remember my Mama(maternal uncle) telling me how he was travelling by train during the crisis and this Sikh woman with her child begged him for help. It was a horrible situation and murdering innocents can never be justified. Anyway, regarding Madam Gandhi, it's a strange situation. She did some interesting things and made some positive moves while also inciting a genocide. Very much like the situation of Modi. Except Modi hasn't even done a proper positive thing as the PM yet.
As for me, I condemn and hate every person who incites or has incited murdering of innocents. It's not exclusive hatred for me.

@ red : I dont think it was/is .. and i am sorry if my posts gave you that impression .. i have breezed through previous posts here & i have read how Hindus too were doing their bit to avoid the dirty politics affect the common man's lives .. I dont think the issue on this thread was ever about Hindu Vs Sikh , it was, as it rightfully should be, about the dirty politics .. and may be its me questioning you , if you are a Sikh made you think that i am trying turn it into Hindu Vs. Sikh , i am sorry but that was never my intention .. i believe i already cleared it out in my previous post ..

He is an actor only!! Period.

It is like asking a politician " why are you dishonest?" It goes with the territory. Wherever there is big money, there is bound to be corruption.

He does not have the conviction of anything that he did; the only conviction that he has is that he did it for his survival.

He is only a human - trying to put food on the table for his family. In order to do that he had to scratch many people's backs, especially those that were in power at any point in time. It was a mutual benefit for the politicians involved and for himself.

We humans have this need of finding someone to worship. Especially actors; we just have to look at this forum to realize that.

Lol okay but inciting genocide is a lot different from standard hypocritical stuff these actors do. I don't even know how people can confuse the two. You are free not to judge him or whatever but people will naturally be surprised at the extent of his hypocrisy. We still have that tiny bit of humanity left I would hope.
There is a difference between "trying to put food on the table" etc and being associated with such violently anti-national and anti-humanistic stuff. This is entirely separate from standard hypocrisy because very few other actors have so actively been associated with national politics while being a so-called acting legend and got away with such stuff.

Make no mistake! I DO judge him, but I am not OUTRAGED that he DENIED everything, just as I am not outraged that politicians will do EVERYTHING in their power ( even murder to hold onto power). I did not expect him to admit to what he did nor did I expect him to have Godly morals.

Actors and politicians get away with a lot more; it just never makes it to the print media. They run for high offices or want stardom because they have huge egos.

^^ Absolutely. It's a personal choice. I for one, am outraged and hate his offscreen persona. Nah, he was not supposed to accept anything but he was not even intelligent or charming enough to make his answers sound convincing. That's another myth regarding his so-called intelligence is broken.
So many lies that he can't even keep lies straight anymore lol. Haha, I know they get away with a lot but when things like these come up, people will naturally be shocked and surprised. It's how it is. Also, let alone "godly morals", he doesn't even have ordinary, human morals. Whatever other losers did, this man incited genocide and was actively involved with the nightmarish situation of emergency. Nothing can obliterate that or the surrounding discussion regarding it, no matter whatever little.

Ofcourse he won't accept or comment on the allegations . It's the way he articulated his views on Fraternity culture of the industry , Salman etc and his utter fake ignorance about issues like Beef ban in Maha which made this whole iv laughable. He could have avoided answering them but the way he faked his ignorance about beef ban and that expression, comeon really? What was he smoking.

Also that Shweta Basu Prasad case, like doesn't your family pretend you people are well-read etc? And yet you have no idea about her. Lol, what a loser.
I'm not even particularly outraged per se because I have always heard about the allegations but the way he behaves like a bumbling fool is hilarious.
