Anyway, comebacks of actors are rarely awaited except by remaining fans. It's the content that saves them.

So hope for content to be entertaining.

These online trending don't mean anything at ticket counters.

Onus is still on Ranbir only. Who can rely on Ash?

If you are not a Khan, Roshan, Kumar or a Devgan then your film opening depends solely on the content and story- and thats a fact. Either that or there must be some other factor (music, item song etc)

Whether its Ash-Ranbir or Ranbir-Katrina - if the film does not look good and doesn't interest the audience, then it won't work. Simple as that.

Thats why a film like NH10 or Piku can be a hit without a male star whereas Bombay Velvet can't because it looks like a stupid movie.

So you can't credit one person for the success of an opening.

Thats why a Vidya Balan can give three hits in a row - but then fail with movies like Bobby Jasoos and SKSE - because the script was not good.

Thats why Queen worked for Kangana - but Rani Revolver didnt. Same with Deepika FFF failed, but Piku worked/

Everyone needs to understand that the script and the story is what rings the box office nowadays - not the actual stars. It doesn't mean that Ash or Ranbir aren't stars - it just means that the audience is smarter now and won't support a bad film. That doesn't make them less of a star.

I think people might be more intrigued with RK-Aish pairing in general than RK-Anu since we just saw them in BV. It might be a pull factor and pretty sure KJo will use it if ut can create a bigger hype.

I think RK has managed a good opening on his show in the past and he doesn't "need" anyone. But I'm so sick of people pulling Aish down just b/c they can. I hope for her sake and the sake of fans she gets 2 hits! I'm so sick of people and their ageist remarks about her.
