It is sad to see some Deepika fans gloating about Piku and pulling down other actors in the bargain... I like Deepika.. and I am amazed to see her improving in every movie... But this kind of behavior by fans only creates more haters for the actor... There is no need to pull down other actors to say whether Deepika is improving...

RK and Anushka are both more natural and effortless actors than Deepika... although Deepika is putting in a lot of effort to improve her craft and it seems to be working too... and failures can happen to Deepika too... Tamasha or BM itself could be those failures as well... so why unnecessarily poke others when they hit a rough patch... unless you guys love bashing and being bashed and continuing the vicious cycle! Unnecessarily earning a bad name for the entire fandom!

It's not that, it's just nice to see a girl doing very well once in awhile in a movie that doesn't have the stereotypical drugs/sex/alcohol style incentives to pull crowds in, without a main leading hero.

Why wait for Tamasha or BM,Deepika already has a failure when FF flopped and she is bashed and her fans are mocked every now and then for that movie.

Yes I was a silent member and I had felt irked too to see that.. more so since I actually watched that movie in its second weekend in an almost 60% occupied theatre at my place and liked it as well... ;-) But then it is also her excessive PR that invites the amount of hate that she gets... and may be her not knowing when to stop talking about RK and what to talk when she does... so why do we need to payback in the same coin when a good actor faced failure for an experimental movie... He is still one of the best actors of his generation... but the movie was bad... so what is the point in paying back in the same coin that is all I meant...this circle is just going to continue... and it will only make it look like DP and her fans are obsessed with RK and proving that she is better than him...

I completely agree with that... I am very glad too... to see a simple slice of life movie with no superstar actors doing this well... I loved the movie too and I do feel proud to see how far she has come as an actor... Now if only her PR stops churning out stories every other day... and she stops talking about RK except in very matter of fact terms when asked... I would be really happy... But I think some people are trying to kind of compare and establish her to be the best or better than other actors or whatever using this... it is good to be humble when celebrating a success is how I see it... that is all...

What did you mean by this sentence? Does it also pull down Deepika? nayyy 😆

But, it's okay. Small matter. Most of us just celebrate Piku success because Piku should be Sandwich between Gabbar Is Back & BV (big budget and was said lot of superstar & big name with high acting skill in both movie). Most of people already declare Piku Flop even before BV out. So. kool man

Maybe some fans(like me) were repeatedly attacked or mocked by bringing DP's flop FF in conversation... And do you think other fan groups(some members) would not have bashed DP if Piku was not a success? Piku was deemed a flop even before the trailer was out.

I'm not justifying all this and my reply to you is the my first comment in this thread,just saying that it's only bec Piku is doing it so well that you are not seeing DP/Piku mocking threads...

Many times interviewer asks questions about RK and one can't just say no comment esp when the next release is with him but yes,Deepika should learn to give short professional answers without using the word -Special etc... But this is no way related to BV's failure.And I feel,Piku was not promoted that much and DP's PR was not that active this time around. The promotions started only a week before the release.
