If this film is not mainstream than it MAY flop.

Unless the story/acting generates enough interest among the masses

most actors even the superstars are not immune to this.

if you put them in roles without the glitz and glamour of a mainstream movie and they are just relying on acting.

If the story/acting ain't going to attract attention it will flop.

no movie bling and elaborate songs and dance to fall back on.

if this movie doesn't appeal to the common folk which make up most movie goers she is screwed.

That is really where the large movie going market is.

not the movie intellectuals who hold good acting in high esteem.

But it was Homi's video, and she said she agreed with most everything but she doesn't endorse infidelity, what's wrong in that?

Nowhere did she blame Homi, she said she didn't agree with or support infidelity. She said she felt the video had an overall good message.

agreed. nothing wrong with dat. Nothing is perfect in this world xcept god. she stated what is good what is not in the video. So, just keep good one.

Too early to judge..but good reviews so far.

As for the performances AB sir and irfan are always a delight onscreen..Cant say the same about Deepika tho..she's not a natural actor. TBH I have never found her to be entirely convincing in any of her roles.

She is natural actor in Piku. Watch it before judge in blind 😉
