Nautanki everywhere! Thought that Vogue ad was beaten to death but it has to be resurrected to make a ad selling watches seem like it is all about empowering women. Really these celebrities should stay away from social issues - Womens Empowerment is a big fat joke now - nobody in India is going to take it seriously for a very long time and that is such a shame since we really need it.

Tbh, I like the ads Ogilvy & Mather has been making for Titan. Their previous one featuring Nimrat was also good.

What I'm not getting is.. why this vella made it a DP vs. Kat sh**.

Yep Titan has been doing this ads for some time now, second marriage, marriage of a girl with a darker skin tone and now this. I guess with Katty in this ad, more people will talk about this bur this is not the first time Titan has done a socially relevant theme.

Journalo trying hard to create a link that exists only in his paper. Rivalry= more press. Yawn.

Two actresses, two scripts: one was preaching & got it wrong, the other is really just trying to sell a watch.

The woman in Kats script is better executed & she wont get flack because it is not self-promo under the disguise of being a woman empowerment fighter.

The ad still manages to get a powerful statement accross while selling the product.

Advantage Kat coz i want the watch & i feel good about the message the ad conveys.😃
