Hirani postpones Sanjay Dutt biopic

Rajkumar Hirani has kept his biopic on Sanjay Dutt on hold for now, because he wants to give his complete attention to his next production Saala Khadoos.

The film is set to release soon and is a bilingual (Hindi and Tamil), sports drama, featuring R. Madhavan in the lead as a boxing coach.

A source close to Hirani reveals, "Rajkumar has been regularly conducting extensive meetings to discuss the marketing plan of the film. He has been actively involved in discussions about the pre and post-production, release and innovative promotional strategies. Hirani is keeping a daily tab on all the activities that have been scheduled for the film. Thanks to his busy schedule at the moment, the Sanjay Dutt biopic has been pushed for later."
