Why is there a rivalry between Aish and Kareena fans?

I like Preity because she is Ash's best friend in bollywood and actually had some decency to call Ash when Veer-Zaara was supposed to be made with SRK and Ash unlike classless Rani who being a so called friend didn't even inform Ash when she took her role in Chalte Chalte.

I didn't know that Aishwaria and Kareena fans are having this rivalry going on between them. This side of IF never fails to amaze me. If you are a fan of X, then you are surely a fan of Y too and therefore hater of Z. 🤣In one of my previous threads, one member posted that all Sonam fans love Alia, and I was like really???😲 I have seen many members who have Aishwaria's or kareena's photos in their dp (So I suppose they are fans), saying nice things about the other actress, so I was quite surprised to see this post. I like Kareena, Priyanka even Katrina for different reasons. Does that make me abnormal anyway?😆 I don't think so. And I have very poor opinion of Aishwaria as an actress but that has nothing to do with my fondness for kareena. If I like PC and Kat who are immediate rivals of bebo, why not Ash?? As far as Kareena replacing Ash in "Heroine" is concerned, these things do happen every day in btown. I am sure Kareena and Aishwaria do not like each other in real life but that's because they are polar opposites in almost every way possible, and not because of Heroine or Abhisekh Bacchan.

I think it started much earlier.

Ash was on top post HDDCS and in 2001, Kareena had been called new sensation, next superstar after successes like Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Ajnabee etc. Cola wars were also on. Ash was with Coca Cola, Kareena for Pepsi.

Wasn't it rumoured that Kareena had refused SLB films or something?

They have been pitted against each other long before Heroine.

-Katrina because she replaced Ash in Salman's life; is doing well despite having equal talent to Ash; will dare to walk the red carpet in Cannes

-Kareena because she dared to step into her shoes in Heroine after Ash herself quit

-Anushka in future will be bashed in the future as too will get more accolades for ADHM(which isnt a difficult task against Ash)

-Ash fans care two hoots for Karisma as she is irrelevant; if she strikes back then we will watch the fun

Only people they dont bash is Deepika and Sridevi maybe due to the South connection b/w the 3 actresses. But wait till one of them makes some comment which might appear as a dig to Ash or beat Ash in some endorsement deal/replace Ash or beat her in a film or replace her and all tunes will change.

In addition to this add majority of the actors in the bash list with Salman and SRK leading the pack. Salman for obvious reasons and SRK for daring to replace Ash in CC. Infact despite bashing Diwale they desperately wanted Ash in that movie to make it seem that SRK is kissing Ash's feet. I suppose they have an issue with most lead actors of Ash's time, before her time and after her time as no one can match up to her (as per them). Only HR is excused. Preity is excused as she took Ash's permission before replacing her in VZ.

PS: This reasoning doesnt apply to ALL her fans but a large number of them.

PPS: Ash herself probably cares two hoots for any of these actors though that never matters to her fans

I didnt know Rani was the first choice...rest I am aware. The main issue they have is Rani despite claiming to be Ash's friend didnt ask her permission before stepping into her shoes.

Deepika will be quickly replaced when ADHD is up for release.

The funny thing is, I don't think Aish was actually on board for VZ like she was for CC. Yash Chopra wanted her as his Zaara but SRK wanted nothing to do with Aish...so YC went to Preity. Preity didn't have to ask for permission as she didn't actually 'replace' Aish but she did anyways. 😆

They might have spared Kareena too if she too had taken Ash's permission before stepping into her shoes in Heroine(despite Ash herself leaving the film).

Yeah technically Ash wasnt onboard. But she still bowed down to the great Ash in all humility.
