Mr X grossed very poorly on day one with business in the 4 crore nett range. The collections are a disaster for Mr X. The collections are similar to last week's Ek Paheli Leela which had a low start for that film but here the cost is double that film giving it no chance at the box office.

Ek Paheli Leela failed to show growth over the weekend but Mr X may grow but that will make no difference to the outcome as starting point so low.

Mr X grossed 85 lakhs nett in Delhi/UP, 40 lakhs nett in East Punjab 27 lakhs nett in Rajasthan and Mumbai circuit will do around 1.40 crore nett. Ek Adhbut Dakshina, Margarita With Straw, NH 8 - Road To Nidhivan and Nanak Shah Fakir are all disasters with Maragita With a Straw having the better collections of the lot with around 25 lakhs nett on day one.

Ek Paheli Leela And Dharam Sankat Mein both crashed totally on day eight. Both films are showing drops in the 90% range on their respective eighth days and that too from poor starts.

Ek Paheli Leela has grossed around 35 lakhs nett on its eighth day compared to 3.80 crore nett on day one. A second weekend of 1.50 crore is about the highest it can do. The lifetime business has no chance of a 25 crore nett total.

Dharam Sankat Mein was even worse as it grossed around 10 lakhs nett (day one was 1.20 crore nett) meaning it will do lifetime business of around 8.75 crore nett.

Mr X had a very poor opening of 10-15% and could not pick up much in the evening. The opening was dull in all circuits. This sort of opening gives the film little chance at the box office.

The other releases Ek Adhbut Dakshina, Margarita With a Straw, NH 8 - Road To Nidhivan and Nanak Shah Fakir were washout. The last named is also disaster in Delhi and Punjab where it could have had some collections.

Ek Paheli Leela had a poor first week grossing around 18.50 crore nett. It was a better in single screens on day one but they also could not hold. FLOP

Dharam Sankat was also a poor fare grossing 7.75 crore nett in week one. FLOp

Broken Horses is an epic disaster collecting around 1 crore nett in week one. The collections overseas were also a washout making the film a complete loser with practically no recovery. DISASTER

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy dropped in week two grossing 5 crore nett. FLOO

I really want Maragita With a Straw to be a hit!
Film deals with a totally different subject and that also in a very sensitive manner!
Whats the budget of the film though?

Dont care much about other film...

So now it's confirmed that Bollywood is nothing without the Khans. Not even Akshay was able to create an impact on the boxoffice.
I just hope Tanu Weds Manu Returns is able to do good and I think DDD will be the biggest hit of 2015 so far..then Salman Khan starrer will replace it in the upcoming months

Start to 2nd Quarter is also poor. No super hit filams in this year till now.
Its itself an record that only 1 filam is hit and others all are below it.
Ppl now hoping big from DDD and BV. Both have huge expectations from these filams.
