Aamir's first wife left him for 'something' perhaps it was this whole Jessica affair...then he went into depression...he suffered the consequences of what he did. He might have changed since then.Maybe he regrets it. Maybe he hates that part of his life. People change. People grow. To take away the work he is doing for SJ for something he did in the past is not right. Is he still like he was in the past that is the question.

Reading some of the comments it makes me feel like humans have no chance of redemption after mistakes...

I dont think he suffered any consequences as such. Its Jessica Hines who had to face the consequences and bring up the child sigle handedly. And if he had regret or wanted redemption, first step would have been to own up to what he did and give the child his deserved place. But he wont. Probably he is just thankful that his ass is saved and he can continue wearing the pseudo intellectual/moral garb and make his crores.

I have never called India depressing. I'm sorry if you took my comments as an attack on India. But every country and culture has some practices that are sad and depressing. For instance I think Muslims and Islam is covered very unfairly by U.S. Media and as a result Americans have a very biased and ill informed view of Muslims. Since this is an India forum most of its non-Bollywood topics are about something that has happened in India or is related to India. That doesn't mean that any criticism or negative opinion about such discussions are an attack on India. This is not an India against the world fight. Topics such as rape, child abuse, extra marital affairs, out of wedlock children, spousal abuse are prevalent all over the world. Penn State sex abuse scandal shocked the whole country a couple of years ago. It happens every where and they are all sad and depressing. But once again, this being India forum most of its discussions are on topics that happened in India and/or by Indians.

He has sent legal notice to mags and channels and even websites in past. The fact that he remained mum, proves it was true but he wanted it forgotten and buried.

very well said! and I completely agree on people change and grow over a period of time and how I wish this applies to salman also...but no as he is salman no rules apply to him but bashing for his mistakes done in the past and even how people take away his charity work and BH foundation saying it is his faade for his wrong doings😕...he was /is/will be a criminal/murderer/beater forever for his past mistakes...and yes he has no chance of redemption...but live with the tag criminal..😕
