😆 I love Anushka but let's face it, she is nowhere near famous or popular as VK. Interest in her increased 10 folds after she started dating him. He does not need to use her for publicity
@rosetreasures I don't know if you read his interview but he mentioned in it that when Anushka showed up in australia and he scored centuries in front of her he thought they made a joint statement of sorts as to what he can do when she is around. He said he was shocked that couple months later people were bashing her and burning her posters the way they did after he failed in one match.
He is trying to make people understand she is not a distraction to him but a positive influence. Because acc. to him, people didn't get the message during the test series when he performed well. I think he was deeply hurt by the reactions and he is desperately trying to get people to see she is very important to him and deserves respect. That is why he is going over board with this.
Its not for publicity because anyone who has followed VK from the beginning knows he is a very private person. He has never discussed his relationship in the press ever before. Hell...he had not even mentioned Anushka's name in any of his interviews till this week. He accepted the relationship when he launched his clothing line after the insults they had to take during england tour. Even then he had stressed he won't talk about it because its very personal to him. He has been forced to open up because of the extremely hurtful reactions to Anushka. So his heart is in right place. 😊
