Because he does that, in every interview. Since years. And again with Aryan and Suhana, he never hid them from the cameras. They have been out there as much as Abram since they were born. So does that make all of them his trophy kids?

And to swing it the other way, why can't he take his children outside? No matter what he does or where he goes, SRK is obviously going to be clicked. Where wouldn't Abram be captured? Is it really necessary to question every single action that an actor decides to take even in his personal life? He's going to a cricket match, and he wants to take his children with him. Why should that be such an issue? No comments on Aryan...that poor kid gets majorly judged even when he's not doing anything. We see a second of these kids' life, we need to stop making far-fetched assumptions.

But then again, based on where your judgement comes from, it really doesn't matter in the end.

Do I think all 3 of them are trophy kids? No. But do I personally agree when a celebrity talks about their kids, especially small kids? I suppose it depends on context, but overall no. I always feel that there is some kind of a PR angle when stars bring up their kids in interviews. And I also think they lose some argument for privacy when they choose to put things out there themselves.

But yes I do have stronger opinions about him doing this, than I would others. Like I said above and like you deduced, I do have my own opinions and perceptions about the last few years of his personal life and decisions so that's where my judgment comes from.

Quick note about Aryan, I wasn't judging him. I was actually judging his father. It was obvious the kid didn't want to interact. To me that seemed like a total shot for the camera thing. My opinion and my perception.

As for what's a trophy child? I don't know what DimDim's definition would be but to me trophy child is a child that you take out to a very media heavy covered event to present yourself as a good father and family man. Does AbRam even know anything about cricket? Was it necessary to take him there? Could it be any more obvious that Aryan didn't care to be kissed by his father and seemed not annoyed like a teenager but just apathetic, which is a 100 times worse?

Is SRK the only one who takes his children out in heavily publicized events? No of course not. Azad Khan, Aaradhya Bachchan have certainly been photographed plenty. For me, my judgmental opinion comes from the fact that I feel AbRam was conceived as a last ditch effort to save his parents' marriage after the whole SRK/PC debacle.

Spot on... My older sis is huge srk fan but doesnt follow the news or gossips, when I told her abt how AbRam was born, she was like... no freaking way, U r joking right? Coz i do joke a lot and its hard to tell when I m serious or joking? 😆 I said no, go to google of ur cell and find out abt AbRam- SRK.. she did and was 😲 disappointed. She still doesnt wanna blv in srk -pc affairs ... well, I let her have the srk the best family man ever image.

The way srk kisses Aryan for the camera was so pathetic.. Aryan is almost like.. dad is gonna say something in my ears and then the kiss and he goes yuck... whatever... hope my frnds dont see it. 😆

Oh God, just coz we r brown/dark children, U had to bring AbRam.. piss off dad.

Can't argue with your judgements and perceptions, their yours :) About the argument of privacy, SRK has always been straightforward that he doesn't deserve any privacy. Ever. This is the profession he chose, and he's more than happy to live with the love and intrusion of his life.

Yes, its quite obvious Aryan isn't too pleased with being clicked or watched. SRK has mentioned it quite a few times as well. For me, SRK could be acting for anything except when it comes to being a father. But then again, can't argue with how you tend to see it or why. Either way, it was nice having a rare cordial discussion.😛

Aww adorable pictures!
Btw, SRK's kids have attended almost every KKR match...nothing new there. Not just them, usually a whole group of kids accompany SRK...and he has only just started taking AbRam around. The kid was practically hidden before then.
