Who is she to assume that people have no opinion of their own and started speaking against the video only after seeing tide turn?

How did opinions become negative? That's because many actually did not like it.

Smug of her to believe that critics were probably following herd mentality.

I would say, rather the initial praise was following the herd, and blindly praising anything that a celeb does, and glorifying anything in name of woman empowerment.

I am glad criticism and backlash was there. These Bolly types deserve it to know whatever they dish out is not going to be accepted blindly by everyone.

She's a #MyChoice type woman herself so who can expect her to say anything against the video or acknowledge genuine criticism.

I did not want to comment any further on the other thread , but I will here. I don't know why the video is being so mocked. It might not be the best piece of work but i do think it opens a lot of door on women's sexuality. It opens a lot of doors for topics that are hush hush in India. Personally, I think it's a good effort from vogue. I am glad they made the video b/c honestly for a country where homosexuality, premartial sex etc are frowned upon, this video does open a lot of topics to debate and discuss.I get that everyone has their opinion ,but can we just appreciate their effort though. Someone who puts a lists of Sush's affairs in this thread, like seriously that's needed.😕

People easily forgot that Sec 377 still exists and also adultery is a crime.

This video doesn't call for a debate. It's a declaration of each thing as #MyChoice. Forget right or wrong, it didn't bother about legal or illegal either. It would be shred no matter whether a man said those words or a woman.

It deserves every bit of backlash it got. It's become a joke and made mockery of woman empowerment. It's unleashed more spoofs than Aloknath and Alia Bhatt.

Shame on Vogue and the team for making mockery of issues. And shame on Bolly brigade to refuse to acknowledge faults in communication and genuine criticism of the video.

Their smugness is baffling to say the least. I bet they will give award to their celeb colleagues for being man or woman of substance now for making this mahaan video.
