She was the perfect combination of oomph and talent. In 90s, the word "sexy" instantly meant Urmila.

She could be simple and vulnerable as well. Satya and Mast are examples. Pinjar was amazing and especially those who know about that part of history, could relate to her character well.

Tehzeeb is another bold subject though the film is slow paced. I daresay Urmila overshadowed Shabana Azmi in that film.

She is an underrated performer. I hate how Filmfare's flashback and beauty lists also ignore her. They can include a Raveena in beauty lists but not Urmila? Urmila was the bomb! It's all about lack of PR I guess.

Urmila was an amazing actress with beauty and charisma ..its Sad that she didn't have much bigger connections to Stay longer in BW ...The Way she portrayed roles in Bhoot , Kaun , Ek hasina thy, Tehzeeb, pyar tune kya kiya are just class apart ...I don't think any other actress could play that roles better than urmilla ..She is by far the most underrated actress in BW history

Pinjar is such a sad movie, and probably the best 1947 partition based film.
