For people who are trying to defend Salman here: if indeed he did not commit any crime in the first place and if indeed he was merely drinking water and if indeed someone else was driving the car...where was all of these statements way back in the beginning when he was first accused? Why did he open up now? Why not before? I mean if he was innocent from the beginning, why the harm in being honest then? Why this bakwaas now when the case is becoming more serious by the day? Why all of this when he's in the verge of trouble? Why why why?
