As for Ram-Leela, no again. But then to be fair, I haven't these two movies the whole way through. Thirty mins in and I had enough.

KCK remains the best I have seen of her by far. YJHD was good as well (she was on par with Ranbir in that one). But would you rank those two with the movies/performances with the ones I have listed above??

I haven't seen KCK so can't comment on that one. YJHD...I always thought Kalki did more in that movie than DP's character, although DP herself did really well as shy Naina. But I wouldn't rank that to the ones you listed above.

I see what you mean. Performance-wise, Ram Leela isn't really a stand out film. I attribute that to SLB rather than her; he'll have great sets and costumes, but then muddles the character development.

But when I think of Ram-Leela the movie, I automatically think of DP...so in those terms, I consider that to be a "stand out" type film for her. Same with CE although the characters in that movie were mere caricatures. But our opinions can differ :)

Except KCK and Cocktail.. I can't stand any.

Well, I liked Houseful. But.. was she really in that movie? I didn't notice her.

Do see KCK. Its not your standard BW movie, more a psychological thriller. Takes on a very serious subject and delivers exceedingly well. Kind of slow but well worth the time. Farhan was simply outstanding and Deepika was great as well.

Regarding YJHD, same thought from my side as well. Kalki and Aditya were better than the two leads in that one. Kalki had the best character/story of all four.

More on KCK, it is one of those rare BW movies that makes you think and pay attention to the details. There a lot of questions that the movie doesn't spoon-feed the answers to you, rather leaves them to the viewer to decipher.

And I must say, brilliant use of the Rubik's Cube as well. Don't know if anyone else got that as well or not?? Its little details such as these that make the movie a great watch.

I was just racking my brains to figure out what movie of hers I did like and I came up with: ...YJHD 😆

But even this, I would never genuinely remember as an awesome film...more like time-pass fun. 😆 Even her upcoming films -- I have no interest in them.

I feel like I should re-watch KCK, I found it too slow the first time. Housefull? I only remember Akhri Pasta and the tear gas scene at the end. Rest is a blur. 😆

😆Laughing gas that was. Though most of the scenes/ideas were stolen from various HW flicks, the movie brings back some childhood memories. I used to be a huge fan of The Three Stooges.
