The cruelty of age in Bollywood, when will it stop?

So some have been saying the traffic has reduced on this forum and no interesting topics. I am about to change that. 😉 It seems like the cruelty of age in Bollywood is still prevalent. You need to be in your 20's to be a rage. Alia is doing well now, but what will happen when she is 30, 40, 50? She will be determined to not be one of those heroines who will be saleable. Why does age dictate the shelf life of an actress? We have classic heroines like Sridevi making a comeback. After English Vinglish, has she been offered a good role? Kajol and Aish are making some impacts and shooting for new movies. What about the actors? Aamir is playing father in his next project. Is Bollywood being cruel to him to have him play a father when he is not even 50? So many unanswered questions which can lead to a good debate. Please share your thoughts. 😊

In Bollywood age doesn't matter for male actors biggest examples are SRK, Salman and Aamir ..But for female actresses it does matter anyone above 35 just get dumped by BW I mean then they don't get the kind of attention that they got in their prime years

Not really?
At 40-50, she can always play a mature woman or mother!

But that is too big thing to ask from our egoistic actresses who want to be stuck to their sweet sixteen phase!

And about the men, it's sickening to see them romancing girls half their age! The viewers have to take the blame too. Boycott such films.

Not everyone looks like Aish to play 30 @40. She can even pass off as 25 yr old in certain makeup techniques and costumes but I want her to play hot mother of a teenage girl in a film. :D

You are so humble to keep it at 25 years old, because everyone else believes she can play Alia's role in Student Of The Year also 🤣
