When Shah Rukh asked the young actress a few impromptu questions on his TV show, she surprised him with her answers

While Alia Bhatt made news for her stellar performance in Highway last year, she also grabbed attention when she goofed up and called Prithviraj Chavan the President of India on Karan Johar's talk show. Since then, the actor's general knowledge was questioned every now and then. In fact, she even did a self-mocking video to make fun of that perception. So, when she participated in Shah Rukh Khan's quiz show, India Poochega... Sabse Shana Kaun? recently, it was only obvious for him to expect her not to know the answers to questions he was planning to ask her. But, the 22-yearold surprised him.

"The quiz was not part of the script. While Shah Rukh spoke about the various jokes about her intelligence, he threw some questions at her. Alia was surprised, but agreed to answer all," says a source from the production team.

Apparently, Alia gave all the answers correctly, which left SRK surprised. "Shah Rukh first asked her India's Prime Minister's name. Alia answered correctly and demanded tougher questions, to which the actor asked her the names of prime ministers of a few other countries. She answered all the questions correctly, and took everyone on the set by surprise," adds the source.
