It's crazy how BW gives hope to talentless people and rises them at the top for some time. The downfall can be really hurting and cruel. Like someone said once, artistic karma: it's not up or out but good or out at some point.

the thing is that katrina does not look interested in being in the limelight forever. in fact she looks bored with films and stardom. so even if she fades away i don't think she is going to be affected much. Her choice of films are alright but she came into all the stardom due to her massy films like CE, YJHD, RLand if she stops getting these kind of films, then whatever stardom she has will wane away. I don't think she enjoys the kind of overall popularity that Katrina has, irrespective of whehter her films work at the BO or not.

From her current lineup only Tamasha looks commerically viable and with Imtiaz at the helm of affairs, it can go either ways. BM will depend completely on the publicity that will be generated by Ranveer and Deepika like they did for Ramleela. It was such a below average film but those two upped the PR amp for the film so much that it opened fabulously and managed to make 100 crores. Not sure if the same thing will work for BM.

I think you are right about Katrina, I haven't seen it in that angle. Maybe because she has never dreamt of that successful journey and might be really humble. She seems to be a great balanced person, pragmatic; for that she is the great opposite of Deepika. But I won't miss her as an actress.

I like Deepika for her screen presence but she doesn't seem genuine. I understand why people calls her attention seeker. She built for herself a huge star machinery that works quite well but for how long? I think she'll become the next PC.
