Kids are resilient. And if parents are miserable together then in the long run that's more detrimental to the kids' emotional well being than living in divorced household. And since they are coming from well to do affluent family there is much less chance of suffering from the stigma of having divorced parents. There is nothing to indicate that either Arjun or Mehr are bad parents. So I'm sure they'll do their best to protect the girls through this process.
