| If you thought 2006 was the year of biggies, think again! 2007 promises to be equally big… Although a clearer picture of 2007 releases will appear only when we step into the new year, a few producers have finalized the release date of their films already. January will begin with three biggies: TARA RUM PUM [Yash Raj], SALAAM-E-ISHQ [Nikhil Advani] and FOOL AND FINAL [Firoz A. Nadiadwala]. February is hectic too, what with EKLAVYA – THE ROYAL GUARD [Vidhu Vinod Chopra], METRO [UTV-Anurag Basu] and HAT TRICK [UTV-Milan Luthria] hitting the marquee. UTV will also release Mira Nair's THE NAMESAKE in March. Shree Ashtavinayak will release their first production with Abbas-Mustan, MR. FRAUD, in April. While Sony has officially announced SAAWARIYA [Sanjay Leela Bhansali] in Diwali 2007 [9th November], there's one more biggie that's slated for release in October: Ashutosh Gowariker's AKBAR JODHA. Yes, Gowariker's multi-crore historical AKBAR JODHA, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, will begin shooting in November this year and is slated for release on 12th October next year.
