Education can be started at any point , age and at any phase of life .Education is limitless; the more one learns the more one able to develop .Nice and smart decision by sonam baby ...

What exactly is IB? How does it work? We don't have it here, so I don't know!

It's like an alternative to the likes of A-levels

you choose to do either an IB Diploma or IB Certificate, which determines how many higher level subjects you take, and whether you have to do an extended essay.

If a diploma, you choose 3 higher levels and 3 standard level subjects (you can mix it up... I know people who did 4 HLs and 2 SLs)

higher level subjects are the ones with 3 IB exams you have to appear for (P1, P2, P3) <--- p3 is a f**kin killer! haha so you choose the subjects that you like the most/are good at.

SL's are only P1 and P2.

Also if you do a diploma, you have to complete a 4000 word extended essay based on a topic from one of your higher levels... it's like a starter's thesis
as well as a presentation and essay in TOK (theory of knowledge)

in the end you get a score out of 45. I think IB scores are taken pretty seriously if you apply commonwealth countries; in the US, you can get into a good uni with a decent IB score aided with good SAT scores

I'm sure you have. Ecole Mondiale World School (Mumbai) offers the IB. If I'm not wrong, Sridevi's daughter studies (or used to study) there.
