...and the film wasn't that great... the pace was kind of slow and the story wasn't anything unique or interesting either. Also, don't expect that many twists and turns because there aren't many... but one thing that stood out and I can't believe I'm saying this... is Varun Dhawan's performance! He was exceptional in the film! His expressions, his body language, his dialogue delivery are all pitch-perfect. That one scene where he mimics Liak (Nawaz's character) was pure genius! I'm genuinely impressed with how much he has improved as an actor. This is coming from a guy who thought literally nothing of him as an actor before this film. Not just him but the entire supporting cast is phenomenal as well especially Radhika Apte. Basically IMO, watch this film for the performances, not the story or even the thrills...
