Considering Kangana Ranaut has taken a stand like Aamir Khan to avoid going to award functions altogether, they have a lot in common floating around them. Buzz is that the two have almost become best friends!

An insider from the party that Kangs had recently (on the night of the Filmfare Awards) reveals that they gelled really well and had a lot to talk about. Apparently, they were even choosing their own favourite films of the year.

They also discussed how Kangana felt that Aamir was the best actor of 2014 and likewise. Apparently, Aamir even praised Kangs as better than most of the actresses today. If rumours are to be believed, Aamir was also heard sharing with her how he thinks that both of them will never win a lifetime achievement award in India but had it been Hollywood, they would have been appreciated more for their talent! What an enlightening discussion indeed!

Am I the only one who sees a hint of snark towards them in this article, especially Aamir?

They are both great artists. Kangana is too young now. Even Aamir seems relatively young for a life time achievement award despite having been in the industry 25 years. There is no doubt that he will be very very deserving of such award. But you have to be willing to attend the ceremony for them to give you the honor and unless he changes his mind on this issues he won't be getting it over a simple technicality

Best actor for P.K? Now that is an exaggeration. Please, that wasn't some great acting. Though a fun watch but come on, best actor?

Even Madhuri, Sridevi, Juhi generation from 80s/90s haven't reached that stage of getting Lifetime Achievement awards... So there is at least 30 years left for Kangana to be considered!

Aamir will get Padma Vibhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Award most likely. He doesn't need a stupid lifetime achievement award from Filmfare or Screen or other market.

Kangana is a joke! One or two good films don't earn lifetime achievement awards for anyone.

The last part of this article seems made up. They don't even care about awards so why would they discuss it? Aamir has gotten so much appreciation and public response has been tremendous for his recent films so why would he talk that way? Desis made him originator of 100 crore, 200 crore, 300 crore clubs and almost blindly believe his cinema to be quality cinema. When he has so much respect and faith here why would he talk of Hollywood?
