yes , n the number of screens r getting increased , that too in the 2nd week which means its surely is appealing ...

no he won't give up, one thing he got superb reviews for his performance ... sec thing if he had to give up he would have done so after the terrible views on his looks in his first film , both in tamil n in hindi ... he admitted actually crying when the crowd booed n laughed at him when someone pointed out that he was the hero , on the sets of his 2nd film... he knows he has got it in him n i wish him all the very best to achieve more n more success ...

haha ... i know 'everyday tamil' as i studied for 3 years in Coimbatore ... but don't know 'slang-heavy tamil' , one of the reasons i still haven't understood many dialogues of 'aadukalam' 😭 😆 my friend is planning to buy a 'tamil made easy' book n to watch as much as Tamil films as possible , before the release of dhanush's next film 'maari' 😆

Actually it was a very good movie i enjoyed a lot (My personal unbiased opinion). i will say its comedy film if climax was not considered into. Like someone pointed early in this thread .

1.Promotion is really really bad . I am not saying about the amount of promotion . they promoted it like very srs tragedy film.

2.Script is very thin and they revealed almost every thing to ppl before the release(ppls are not interested in watching ego clash i guess they want to watch some interesting story instead) . how he gets the voice and dhanush dies in climax these are the things that not revealed to ppls .

3.Very big budget for this script is not good. i don't even know how they spend so much of money.Dhanush and Big B is co producing with balki. So 😲

4.Everywhere balki said its BD gift to Big B and tribute to Big B voice .so much fan boyish'm in promotions its kind of worshiping .

If you see top i have no problem with movie but everything outside of movie.

Problem with shamitabh is not that ppl watched and disliked it but peoples didn't came to watch it .

Also these movie critics so dumbs they didn't even watch movie as a movie . So that's the shamitabh fate.

Shamitabh did really well in south. Both viewers and critics enjoyed the film a lot did good box office collection as well but again this shamitabh not released wide here . In south india everyone thinks shamitabh is a big hit .

Mumbai: According to a report in a leading daily, the film shoot of the Amitabh Bachchan-Dhanush starrer Shamitabh' has come to a halt due to an abrupt change in Mumbai's weather. A couple of days ago, the city was subjected to heavy rains that destroyed one of the film's sets.

The R Balki-directed film will see a number of cameos by big names including Rekha, and Rohit Shetty. According to the report the team was to shoot an awards-ceremony sequence in Mumbai, but the shoot has been re-scheduled due to the unexpected weather.

The report also stated that the entire sequence will now have to be reworked and a new set will have to be built for the shoot. Shamitabh' also marks the debut of Kamal Haasan's youngest daughter Akshara.

ha! me too can't wait to watch anegan... my colleagues have already watched it ...

he was just 17 back then , he admitted he didn't have the maturity to take it in chin 😊 n yes! he has a special charm... 😳

yeah, i am eagerly waiting for maari... rumour is that maniratnam is planning to cast him for his next film ... hoping for the best

i can see more movies coming from dhanush to bollywood . As you mentioned one with anand l rai,manirathnam film is not yet confirmed but it will happen for sure bcos dhanush love working with great directors (its bilingual hindi& tamil ), he didn't sold the VIP rights to bollywood this means he going to do that movie in hindi for sure, Anegan will be dubbed (i thought it was releasing simultaneously)

Only thing, did he have enough time to do so . Poor guy just finished shamitabh promotion then anegan promotion , now doing last schedule of maari moive, feb 27 kaki sattai from his very own production company releasing, committed a movie with vettri maaran , then 2nd film with VIP team (Amy jackson & samantha ruth prabhu),then anand l rai,then prabhu soloman ,maniratnam and then with this very own brother & ace director selvaraghavan

Amitabh Bachchan never had script sense. He just benefitted working with some good filmmakers. Otherwise he has lot of trash in his filmography. Bachchans are a fizzling brand. AB sr is growing old. So is Jaya. Son is flop. Daughter in law is struggling to make comeback. TV shows and films all flop.
