Amit Trivedi. I've loved number of his albums/songs like Wake Up Sid, Aisha, Kai Po Che & Lootera.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy are good too but Amit's music/songs have much more soul & a feel good thing about them.

Amit Trivedi..SEL were really good at one point but they have lost their charm now..Amit on the other hand is brilliant..For now 😆 Unconventional & versatile..I have loved almost every single album of his till date..

PS. I love Shankar Mahadevan as a singer though..He is brilliant..

No competition, IMO. Poll should've been Amit Trivedi vs. A. R. Rahman. That would've been tougher to decide between.

S-E-L for me.

I love Amit Trivedi but I'm biased towards the trio. Their dance numbers and melodious tunes in DCH, Karthik Calling Karthik, JBJ, KHNH, TZP, Lakshya, Johnny Gaddar, Luck by chance etc..are absolutely amazing. I even love the whole London Dreams album. 😆 There is a wide-wide range, IMO.

Also Shankar's voice and expertise at singing...he is simply mesemerizing in songs like Sapnon se bhare naina, jogi nachle portions of uff teri ada, title track of TZP and the superbly energetic JBJ title track to name a few.

Simply awesome!!
