As long as she keeps that up, don't think any number of blockbusters(highly unlikely in Sonam's case, anyway) will change that. Na you probably misunderstood my comment..Am sure there are ppl who'l dislike Sonam irrespective of how many hits she delivers & vice versa..But i was only trying to say ' nothing succeeds like success'..When someone is successful, we tend to look at them differently & i completely stand by my statement..You may be different but i have seen opinions change as soon as an actor/ actress becomes successful..That was just a general observation i made..Not just applicable to Sonam/ Alia..You may disagree but i still think success makes ppl look better and we tend to view them differently..Totally my opinion though 😆

Where is the comparison? Talent wise and personality wise there is none. Sonam is just an internet celebrity, can't think of any redeeming quality she has, just the fashionista tag to her name.

Early days yet for Alia but the fact that she hasn't shown condescension, arrogance till now after all the accolades makes her infinitely better than Sonam. The moment she spouts constant snark/loses her humility, becomes derisive, my liking for her off-screen will diminish, hits or no hits.

On a side note, I find it weird that Sonam initially used to go gaga over Alia during SOTY days, saying she'd like to direct her. Post Alia's AIB video, she dismissed it as a PR tool and was pissed that Alia's Highway was received well when Bewakoofiyaan wasn't, insisting they fared similar. Anyone who surpasses Sonam shall face her wrath at some point.

Until recently I always thought it was Kareena but So-Dumb is at an entirely different level all together. Well maybe I just think that because Kareena has calmed down lately but you know what I mean.

I get what you're saying but my point is that the old adage "nothin succeeds like success" is probably not something that will ever apply to Sonam. Unless she stops being so catty and obnoxious, I think she will remain an exception to that rule. 😆 That is because people that have a problem with her have a problem with her personality more than her acting prowess or lack thereof. I can see your post applying to someone like Anuskha or Imran Khan but not Sonam. She just comes across as too much of a brat right now for people to completely take a u-turn and start liking her just because her films become hits.
