Amitabh as Gabbar in Sholay?

Do u guys think that Amitabh will be able to justify gabbar singh's role in the new Sholay movie? Do u think that people will accept him as Gabbar?

We'll see but I am not too enthusiast about it. Original Gabbar was a cult Fig, and my feeling is that even AB won't be able to recreate old magic this time.

I don't really think so...sometimes I feel that the originals stay best! 😊

i think that people WILL NOT be able to relate and not because that Amitabh is a bad actor or anything like that. People associate him too much with his charachter in the original, and to see Amitabh as Gabbar will surely have a negative reaction from some people.

My first reaction when i heard was "No" he has different hero image. But now I think you never know....let's see. I would like to see him give a shot and see....maybe he can be great gabbar.
