Will Akshay be third time lucky this Diwa

MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar is becoming a regular on the Diwali - Idd film release front. The year before last, Akshay took on Shahrukh Khan's Veer Zaara with Aitraaz. Last year he camped himself opposite Salman Khan's Kyon Ki... with Garam Masala.

This year yet again, the 'Khiladi' actor will pit himself against Shahrukh Khan's Don in Sajid Nadiadwalla's Jaan-E-Maan. The box office will see the combination of the two actors this year.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is confident of Jaan-E-Maan's success, says "Ishallah, my film will be a hit and Akshay will be third time lucky."

What's more, trade pundits have already declared it a winner, what with the record breaking distribution deals and the high decibel buzz around the film. Also Akshay is on a consecutive box office run since Aitraaz.

What remains to be seen is whether Akshay will create fireworks at the box office this year too?
