Arnab Goswami has become an idiot these days and this MSG is a freaking homophobe who says he would treat 'perverse' homosexuals. He is accused of rape, murder and many disgusting acts. 🤢

Allegedly, MSG encourages castration for men who seek to get closer to God.

I never understood religious objections to sex. It seems to be the only activity that makes everyone including some atheists remember God and repeat his name over and over again. Let us not forget the little death that takes us closest to God and back again.

Perhaps this explains all sex babas seem to have with their disciples. They want to help them remember God and get closer. 😆

It has been over 20 years since VP Singh gave India its greatest post-independence gift by implementing the recommendations of the Mandal Commission. That his term was a golden period for modern India isn't even debate-worthy as everybody knows that for a fact. However, the sad reality is that after two decades of affirmative action and ever-increasing quotas, Indians have still not got out of the casteist attitudes.

Guru Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is a case in point. The man is a social reformer who has worked tirelessly for the benefit of society yet people can't stop making fun of his movie, MSG. Messenger of God. A title so noble in its intentions that it oozes humanity. A movie made with the sole intention of donating its collections for the treatment of Thalassemia patients all over the world.

This summarizes the problem with contemporary Indian society. A Salman Khan can make movies with actresses half his age and pretend to beat up five thousand men simultaneously, but if a noble godman tries to create a film that helps him spread the message of peace and harmony in an entertaining manner, it is fodder for ridicule?

This really is casteism at its purest. A man from humble origins living in rural India becomes fair game for Twitter mockery just because he wears gaudy clothes while his immense contribution towards rehabilitation of sex workers, cleanliness campaigns, blood drives, support for transgenders and orphans is all conveniently forgotten. Perhaps it is this very fact that he cares for other inconvenient communities like transgenders and sex-workers that makes the privileged think that they can belitttle him. Yes, homophobia. As if we Indians didn't have enough problems to worry about.

As is the wont, criminal charges have also been raised against him, including murder and sexual exploitation. Our nation can tolerate having chargesheeted politicians run the government but the moment a humble man of god gets accused of a minor crime, people get all incensed and start frothing at the mouth. How else does one explain this journalist calling him out for being less handsome as compared to other Bollywood heroes? Or this one saying If you want to torture anyone, just tie him up and play this trailer on the loop.' Or this utterly disrespectful Huffington post piece.

The irony is that the same people would happily read Chetan Bhagat books or go to watch Salman Khan's mindless movies but they can't stomach a jat guru riding a Harley Davidson? Can Sajid Khan ever claim that the inanity of his movies is for the cause of social justice? Why then is he not ridiculed or castigated for the travesties that he keeps producing far too often, at the peril of the per-capita IQ of Indians?

Where does this end? When will the casteist people of our racist nation learn to accept that people of lesser origins can also aspire for the good things in life? When will we learn to reserve our judgments against people who don't conform to societal standards of handsomeness or ruggedness?

It is time for India to grow up and learn to appreciate people who want to do good for society, rather than hunting for Twitter RTs or digging around for allegations of some small rape or murder against men of god.

I am not this guy's follower..I won't even go and watch this movie... but I don't support the drama that is going on in the name of opposing this movie. This hypocrisy has to stop. Not every controversial movie is banned.. the appellate body cut two scenes and passed the movie..why is everyone so angry? This is not the first movie that will hurt sentiments- a lot of people were hurt by PK( i was entertained though, watched it yest)..so was the movie banned? Haider upset a lot of people, was it banned..no..no..then why this movie?
Agreed, this guy has some cases on him... but so do a lot of movie stars..what about their movies? this guy is innocent until proven guilty.

The CBFC should me converted into a rating body...it has become a joke now... two jokers appointed by the previous regime have resigned..hope the new government doesn't bring new jokers in their place
