Are Salman and SRK just hype?

So-called India's "biggest superstar" and "King Khan", both have the most fanatical ardent fans, though the former probably has more, both are most publicised by the media, most hype surrounds them, both sets of fans quibble 365/24/7 over box office results and figures... and who takes the glory at the end of the year?, Aamir.

Time and time again, Aamir ends up whooping both their arses, and no-one even gives a shit about him. Is it a case of empty vessels make the most noise?

It seems like Salman is destined to remain last despite whatever his fans claim, facts state otherwise.

PLEASE, both Shahrukh and Salman are amazing in their own ways and so is Aamir. All 3 Khans deserve equal recognition for giving so many memorable movies to us..

PS- Salman is still called one of the most bankable boxoffice stars: how the hell do you think that happens?

Amir has absolutely out-shined both of them in terms of his film's success but i dont think that automatically translates the other two as "just hype" .. Yes , the other two Khans have immense vocal fan following comparatively, but they also guarantee box office success for shitty films..Ergo , the answer to your question is NO ..

Amir brings something fresh & watchable every time onscreen (Dhoom 3 Notwithstanding) , the other two khans are caged by their stereotypical image/personality that tries hard to please their fans , since the celebrity & fans feed off of each other , & thats why i like Amir more , & dislike the other two since all we get to see in their films is eulogizing their own exaggerated personality.. Amir doesnt have to succumb to such crazy expectations of fandom, he is a free bird (his fans know,accept & admire that) & uses it to his advantage..

The real all-time worldwide stardom is still SRK>Salman>Aamir

They are of an age where their full career will be analyzed in few years. It doesn't matter who peaked which year.

I am ready to accept Aamir has surpassed SRK's and Salman's stardom if his next movie does a similar business

as an actor aamir khan will be remembered. srk and salman will be not. they are not actors. just superstars. srk had a lot potential, but made too many stupid choices.

Aamir's last two movies have beaten the hell out of Salman's and Shah's last few movies - beaten their highest grosser's collections in 9-10 days. Why do you need a third movie to prove he is ahead? 2 ATBBs back 2back isn't good enough? Aamir did that twice.. other's not even once.

What is srk doing? It is embarrassing to see his films post 2011. Quite a shame

Salman has always been masala lover but for some one who once did movies like DDLJ, swades CDI..it is a massive step down. He either glorifies his own self in movies (billu) or does mindless trash (ra one jthj CE HNY..)
