Inna lillahi wa inna ilahi raji'un.
My prayers go out to the victims and their loved ones. :'(

All I have to say is that the killing of innocent children/individual is NOT a jihad and absolutely is not Islam!!

@Mugda
No one believes your misinterpreted quotes.

There is no question of religion here. These people as i said before just uses the name of religion to gain more power.

One must fight, surely, but against injustice. No god will tell one of his child to kill another.

Gosh this is heart wrenching!
I think the best way to stop this is to find the people who are providing the resources to these terrorists...the sources I mean...there must be funding involved from different people. They must be getting their ammunition from somewhere. If someone can stop that and catch those people first...I think some attacks can be prevented right then and there. And then further action can be taken.🤔

@ red : so true ! .. i agree , the psycho freaks who did it only use their interpretation of the religion to justify their inhumane acts & in effect the reputation of the religion suffers immensely..

@ pink : Amen !

@ blue : yes & in order to do that i believe an open discussion is a necessity , only that will get rid of the widespread misconceptions.. though i cant stand Mugda's bigotary & i am yet to read her posts entirely as i was too much in a state of despair last night to be bothered with Mugda's insensitivity , few points raised by Mugda did come to my notice & did make sense to me.. as in , i have time & again come across instances in real life where Muslims 'mock' (almost bordering on despise ) idol worshiping ( I am a Hindu ) & one of my school friend happened to mention that there is something written along the same lines in the Quran too.. when i raised this question in Debate Mansion Forum , the reply i got was - it was purely my misunderstanding & i had to make peace with it, my real life experiences not withstanding..now coming to the so called violent side of the Quran , it is not completely baseless either , there indeed happens to be such a side but the difference is that the context of those texts is of utmost importance ..these so called violent texts is in the context of a 'war'.. so that makes all the difference..but the problem is that , for the extremists it is only too easy to interpret their actions to be in favor of Islam as they take those texts out of context as per their own convenience .. point being , overruling and silencing Mugda is not the solution , the solution is a proper discussion & dispelling the myths & misconceptions systematically..this discussion is already in progress here : 21st Century Religion & my final thoughts after discussion : https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/115306095

Taliban: We Slaughtered 100+ Kids Because Their Parents Helped America

Militants who attacked an army-run school in Peshawar claim it's retaliation for U.S.-backed efforts to crush a group that's helped protect al Qaeda.

LONDON"The unprecedented slaughter Tuesday of at least 132 students at a school in Peshawar, Pakistan, shows in the most gruesome possible way that the Pakistani Taliban, known as the TTP, have not yet been defeated or brought under control by the Pakistani military's recent offensives. Certainly that was the objective of the attack: the school is a private one run by the army for the children of soldiers.

"The TTP is ready for a long, long war against the U.S. puppet state of Pakistan," a TTP commander told me when I reached him on his Afghan cellphone. "We are just displaced, but we are still in positions to attack wherever we want," said Jihad Yar Wazir.

Yar Wazir justified the killings as fitting retribution. "The parents of the army school are army soldiers and they are behind the massive killing of our kids and indiscriminate bombing in North and South Waziristan," which are the TTP strongholds. "To hurt them at their safe haven and homes"such an attack is perfect revenge."

But the children are innocents, I said. What about them, I asked?

"To hurt them at their safe haven and homes"such an attack is perfect revenge."

"What about our kids and children," he said. "These are the kids of the U.S.-backed Pakistani army and they should stop their parents from bombing our families and children." Yar Wazir went on: "Those kids are innocent because they are wearing a suit and tie and Western shirts? But our kids wearing Islamic shalwar kamiz do not come before the eyes of the media and the West."

Yar Wazir says the TTP (Tehrik-i-Taliban) has a long list of attacks that it will carry out in Pakistan against the security forces, whose efforts to crush the group are supported by the United States. The regions where it is strong have served as a refuge for al Qaeda, which is the main American target.

A Peshawar-based journalist, author, and terrorism expert, Aqeel Yousafzai, says today's attack is a big blow for Pakistan's counter terrorism strategy and policies. "The army public school was not only for army kids. Most of the kids are civilians' kids, and what is worse is that the media reached the school before the rapid response force" of the police or military.

The TTP's retaliation for the recent offensive against it was "rapid and huge," says Yousafzai, and all the more of a shock because "the school is located in very sensitive place surrounded by army checkpoints."

According to eyewitnesses, six attackers came in a car, set fire to it, and then entered the school compound at about 10 a.m. by scaling the wall. "We thought it must be the children playing some game," a worker at the school told Reuters. "But then we saw a lot of firearms with them."

It appears the attackers had little interest in taking hostages. One is reported to have blown himself up, along with many victims, but detonating a suicide vest. The killers went from classroom to classroom mowing down teachers and students alike. The latest reported death toll is 80 children and 46 adults, but that is expected to rise. As of early afternoon some of the attackers still appeared to be putting up a fight.

I think Mugda was genuine. I don't know if she has made more comments that I didn't read may be. I just replied to the one she raised a point.

I agree, people should be open, so these misunderstandings can be clear because it is the Muslims who are suffering the most due this ignorance where many of us just blindly following or mixing cultures with faith. I was also like this once and a long story. If we learn our own text we believe in, it will free us from the falsehood and benefit us. I am saying because Saudi along with others are behind Wahhabi disguised as Islam. They have been funding it throughout the world for Muslims.. Wahhabi benefits the elite. So, it is important to be careful. At least, by studying own book, we will at least know what is in the scripture and what is the rest to see the difference and decide.

Those muslims shouldn't have mocked. I don't agree with either, but I will go against if one go for oppression, or any other wrong which will causing others harm. Not what faith a person belong to.
