haha people say PC acted very well in Mary Kom, but if you have ever seen Mary Kom talk or be herself, Kom is very quiet and non-dramatic. What PC portrayed was a very dramatized, over expressive woman that wouldn't fit Mary Kom. PC didn't portray the real Mary Kom correctly, yet she is "the best actress". 😆

How one projects oneself in public & how one really is, are two different things..even in the film, PC showed that difference in Mary Kom..besides, in a film 'dramatization' is a given, so that goes without saying..but what really matters is the final product & how convincing it is..both Mary Kom & the public was convinced by PC's portrayal..

Even if you aren't convinced by PC's acting that hardly qualifies Katrina as the best actress..lol.. Kat is sexy & hard working- there is no denial of this fact but 'best actress' - nope, not by any stretch of the imagination, even her fans do/should know that..

And many of us (for ex: people in Southern India, or people that live outside India, or non-Indian fans) just watched Bang Bang through the entire year. Just because she is in it. Haven't watched any other BW movies. Yeah, since we liked her in it, we voted for her.

Also, it's such a herd mentality to think Katrina is a non-actress. When I am watching her movies, I get convinced by her character. That's acting. I don't really count the exact number of expressions she gives. Also many of us get put off by over-acting...just like some of us get put off by talkative people.

I always underestimate the number of Katrina fans btw. We seem to be a silent bunch.

She suits her character most of the time because she plays mostly NRI girl with little histrionics like ZNMD, Namastey london, MBKD, D3 etc

There's nothing extraordinary she has played till date so her getting best actress title is totally unconvincing that too for a movie like bang bang
