Yup Janaki the genre is same as well...The major difference I see is Sapna is the vampire from the looks of it as she drinks blood...See that pic where Guru is holding a bottle. He has set free the butterfly #meera which he has trapped...he will be obsessive possessive hubby...Meera is the trapped butterfly set free seducing Ali but still holding onto her past that is her husband Jaidev...Now I'm really excited to see the movie...credit to Mukku for coming up with this symbolism...

Khamoshiyan narrates the story of a young novelist Kabir (Ali Fazal) who is a one-book wonder. He is on an inspirational journey to find himself and to write his book. He meets a young and beautiful lady Meera (Sapna Pabbi) who runs the isolated guest-house which he finds eerie. Meera is married to the owner of this guest-house Jaidev (Gurmeet) but has apparently killed him. Kabir begins to encounter unusual things and discovers secrets about the house and Meera. The more Kabir interacts with Meera about these strange incidents, the more he gets drawn towards her. What are the secrets that are hidden in her silences?
