Im happy for Anushka and Ranbir. Aishwariya is going to get good roles no matter what, she is established enough, and a delight to see on screen even at 40.

You know in a way this is progress for KJO, the more he learns to work with other actors, the happier he will be. I don't think that Ranbir is his new SRK, and I hope he isn't trying to make him that. Because I think he will regret not being able to work with other actors. Every actor has something different to offer, and he should keep his doors open. I think he has left SRK ad his K movies long ago...so at least he's not stuck on that still.

Not saying that I didn't love that, it was a delight. I don't think that he's in love with star kids, otherwise he would never have signed SRK for any of his movies. Not sure how much that has changed, but I really hope he will stop creating his camp.

As far as Deepika and Ranveer saying No to Shuddhi, I don't think that he actually approached them, I think those are rumors. He is well aware that both Deepika and Ranveer were committed to Bajirao Mastani a while back. So I don't think they would break the commitment for KJO and he shouldn't be expecting that either. He didn't give them Ram leela in their career when they needed it. SLB did, so if he's doing this to get back at them its just lame. I honestly do not think there is a correlation here.

his loyalties are equal to his students as are to RK, so the reason for casting RK vs one of them is obvious financial reasons. I think he tried to experiment with his students by giving them Humpty and Hasee to Phasee, but realized that they just haven't reached the fame of RK yet.

RK is the youngest bankable actor right now. And obv KJO has trust that his story isn't going to be another Besharam. He is also a producer after all, and of course he wants 100s of cr coming in. Maybe RK's star power will add to it.

So Im happy and excited for the movie, only if its not another KANK. I don't want a KANK. I hope it flops if its as stupid as KANK.

Aish's fans need to relax and stop calling everyone a hater! Too many hypocrites in here, getting excited that 40+ year old woman is romancing a young guy but all you ever did was whine about the khans romancing younger girls.

But I think she will play a mother or Didi to Ranbir or maybe Ranbir will be interested in Grannies in the film ?

Aish's fans need to relax and stop calling everyone a hater! Too many hypocrites in here, getting excited that 40+ year old woman is romancing a young guy but all you ever did was whine about the khans romancing younger girls.

That's b/c when this news leaked a week ago everyone was saying it's all Aish's PR and no one but the fans care for her so yeah we're guilty of gloating. 😆

We whine b/c it's a double standard. If Khans are paired opposite youger women the audience is supposed to except that but it's unbearable that 40+ be paired with a 30 something year old. Ranbir s what 32? It's not shifting blame onto other fan groups b/c most of us have a problem with the mentality of the industry--not the fans of Khans. Why should Aish 10 years old play a mother to Anu or Ranbir but it's ok if Khans don't accept their age and start playing fatherly roles. That's the point. But I think we're gonna be disagreeing on this and probably anything Aish related. 😆

Very interesting cast. I m very excited to see ranbir and ash.
Even ranbir anushka is a welcome change after over exposure of his pairing with others.
Bas kjo should surprise and make a good film. Not a fan of his direction.

I'm not saying Aish shouldn't get the same chance as the Khans, as hard as it might be for you guys to believe I have no problem with that, what I do have problem with is the same people who complained about the Khans romancing younger girls are in this thread wishing Aish and Ranbir to romance. If you had no problem with the Khans doing that and are here celebrating this Jodi, then my comment wasn't for you it was for the hypocrites.

Can't wait to know more about the movie. Kjo has a way with words and his description has got me really intrigued. Right now am thinking of character sketch similar to that of Rachel Weisz and Isla Fisher in Definitely, Maybe.

@Viva: No you make sense and I personally would not call someone a hater. But there are some that are true detractors and that's true for all fan bases. I'll be the first to say Mugda goes around calling Kareena out for every little thing when she doesn't have too. It happens everywhere and I usually let it go, but of recent it's been getting on my nerves so I said that. 😆

I agree with you on the hypocrite part. I think the standards should be the same and my problem is with the industry and their mindset. Earlier in the thread I even said that actresses like Aish, Rani, Kajol, Sri Devi, Madhuri etc are all trailblazers and setting up great career graphs for today's actresses. I just think it's too early to say that Aish and Ranbir will look bad b/c she's older. She looked hella fine at Cannes and if KJo is anything-he's shallow. 😆 He's def gonna make sure they look good together if there even is a romantic angle between them.

You are the first person to make topics to make fun of Ash and her age and put her down. So I don't know on what basis you can say you don't have a problem with her getting the same chances as the Khans. this is coming from the person who made a topic about Ash's last 5 films and LEFT OUT a hit film just to make it seem like she delivers flops...But from Arjun Kapoor you seem to have lots of excuses for FFF (Oh it was critically acclaimed) 😆😆

Oh and BTW The Khans working with Anushka IS NOT the same as Ash working with Ranbir...The Khans are 50 years old and Anushka is 26 (that's a different of 24 years)...Aishwarya is 41 and Ranbir is 32...That's 9 years

On what basis are you even comparing this? a 9 year age gap is nothing compare to a 25-26 year one. Please double check your facts.

Seems unlikely to me that Ash will be romancing Ranbir. Desi mentality doesn't really accept the older woman, younger guy pair. I also think Aishwarya doesn't want any focus on her age at all so there's no way she would do some 'older woman' type of romance with Ranbir especially if they play it like that.

I think it's gonna be Ranbir and Anushka paired together with Aishwarya having a different type of role in it. I'm sure it will be a good one or else she wouldn't take it but I don't think it's going to be about doing love scenes with Ranbir.
