The much-awaited trailer of Dolly Ki Doli is out and we aren't disappointed at all. Watch!

The wedding season is here and so is Dolly ki Doli. After the launch of the first look and a motion poster, the makers of DKD are finally out with the trailer of the film, which stars Sonam Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. And it's pretty good.

Sonam plays a feisty girl, who charms men to marry her and then dupes them. Yet, she is spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a groom. She is certainly a far cry from the quintessential coy bride.

Sonam Kapoor has always been more famous as the fashionista of Bollywood but this time she is going to impress you with her chorni' skills (quite literally) and as the looteri Dulhan' in Dolly Ki Doli'. From the looks of the first trailer, launched a few minutes ago, the movie looks quite interesting.

National Award winning actor Rajkummar Rao as a Haryanavi sataya hua pati' looks too cute. Pulkit Samrat sports a moustache avatar a la Salman Khan style as he plays a cop in the movie, who is on a look out for Dolly (Sonam).

And to add to all this there is a special item song by Munni' Malaika Arora Khan, who also happens to the film's producer along with her husband Arbaaz Khan.

Arbaaz Khan tweeted: Wrapped up shoot of #DollyKiDoli, thanks to @sonamakapoor @PulkitSamrat @RajkummarRao @varunsharma90 @abhishekdograa and the entire team.

Ahead of the trailer release, Salman Khan also tweeted about the film saying Dekhna Toh Banta Hai'

And must say the trailer is indeed a nice watch.

Also featuring Varun Sharma, Dolly Ki Doli' is directed by Abhishek Dogra and is slated to release on January 23, 2015 to cash in on the long weekend.

New Delhi: She has played the coy girl from Banaras in 'Ranjhanaa' and the suave young 'Aisha'. Now you will watch Sonam Kapoor play a con artist in 'Dolly Ki Doli'. The first trailer for the movie was released on its Facebook page on Friday and the movie promises to be a fun filled extravaganza.

Sonam is looking as beautiful and elegant as ever in different wedding garbs as she sets out to con the world by marrying them and then looting the family.

Malaika Arora Khan will also make a special appearance in the movie, for an item number.

The film is all set to release on January 23. Produced by Arbaaz Khan and directed by dbutante filmmaker Abhishek Dogra, the film features Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma.

THE FILM'S FIRST TRAILER FEATURES DOLLY'S ALIASES - MADHURI, JUHI, VIDYA

Gaur Se Dekhiye... Looteri Dulhan.

Actress Sonam Kapoor is a robber bride in her latest film Dolly Ki Doli. That should come as no surprise, given the previously-released posters of the film that featured three grooms. The film's first trailer, which released on the film's official Facebook page on December 12, showcases Dolly's aliases - Madhuri, Juhi, Vidya - and the three grooms she cons.

The trailer starts with actor Rajkummar Rao waking up to realise that his new bride is a famous con-artist. She has duped many unsuspecting lads who have fallen for her. And even before they know it, Dolly has left with all their belongings.

Enter Pulkit Samrat aka Robin Singh (apparently a tribute to his mentor Salman Khan's Dabangg character Chulbul "Robinhood" Pandey), a policeman looking for the 'looteri dulhan.' In the first look, though, Pulkit was introduced as one of Dolly's grooms.

The trailer has peppy music as its background score and many fun-filled dialogues, including a scene where Pulkit threatens Rajkummar saying "be tu bol apne baap ko. Hume ji bol."

While Sonam Kapoor's notorious activities keep us engaged in the trailer, a sneak peek at actress Malaika Arora Khan's item song in the film steals the show.

The film is directed by first-timer Abhishek Dogra and produced by Arbaaz Khan. Dolly Ki Doli is slated to release on January 23, next year.
