Eloped? That kid now cannot possibly be more than 17. How old was she when she eloped? Is there a minimum age for marriage in India? Or a need for parental consent if one or both of the is too young?

Why is there so much attention to Arpita or Alviras wedding ? I don't get the interest - they are not stars and no one cares about them. I don't see anyone else interested in any other stars siblings weddings - can someone remind me or explain to me why this even a topic of discussion? I'm not trying to be difficult I just don't get it?

😆 I'm just guessing, but maybe it's because of all the bollywood guests showing up for the wedding? Since it is the bollywood gossip section, we expected a lot more drama and gossip you'd normally expect in such events. Currently, no other top star has any siblings that are getting married. Riddhima Kapoor's wedding would have been much more talked about if it happened now since the media is more intrusive.

Alvira got married in around 1993 at Holiday Inn Hotel -Juhu. That was one of the the best hotel in Juhu! The wedding wasn't grand as this one! I am from Kenya and during that time my grandmother had travelled and was staying at the hotel - thats how I know! The family was extremely friendly and were giving away autographs even while the wedding was going on!

Media has only given out bytes from her speech. There's a video of PC reading out speech(only a part of speech) her speech is heartfelt. No way would she have missed thanking alvira.

This family is very close knit, always together in happy & not so good times.
