First of all, he was robbed off the best debutant award. He gave a good performance in his debut film and it was a critical and commercial success too. But they gave all the awards to Ranbir who was bad in his disaster of a film called Saawariya.

Well Its tough to make a name in Bollywood...he has 3 names...more difficult for him..😆

Well getting serious..he does lack the Indian appeal..plus he is too stiff an actor..

Two YRF movies, one Bhandarkar's (when Bhandarkar was a hot property.) Movies flopped. No one cares about flop heroes. The End.

What's with the "he lacks Indian appeal" comments, he is fair but he looks very much Indian to me... I don't think that was his problem, he just got unlucky with the films he picked and once you start delivering flops no big producer will go near you! At least he's still getting big films, granted he's playing the side kick but it's better than nothing.

He is better looking than these gay Siddharth Malhotra or cartoon looking Ranveer Singh.-------------- mind your language if you want people to reply and participate in your threads... As a TM, it's a shame that you open a thread with such language. You can express the same view without namecalling other actors..

as for your neil nitin mukesh, he is history...now go cry

Well, I am not indian and with his name having Neil in front too, I really misunderstood at first. Just based on my experience. Nothing against him. Plus i dont use appeal, I use smaller than that *vibes*.

He lacks Indian appeal? What kind of reason is that? Indians love firangi looks that's one of the reasons why Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya are so popular. That's not a logical reasons

He didn't make it because he doesn't have the backing of a Kapoor, Khan, Bhatt, Chopra or Johar

He is better than Ranbir Kapoor in every way but sadly he doesn't have the contacts or support to make it
