get the audited figures of movies after their run. boi is not a good site bcos it does not do this-2 say it's the best site for bo figures is actually not saying much bcos of instances such as this. they r hideously inaccurate. just adopt the US system.

It's not about how many movies of a particular star have been downgraded/upgraded by BOI. It is a matter of creditability. I am surprised by some people's responses trying to justify all these BS from BOI. It seems they have an answer to every manipulation BOI does.

You can check here. Against the distribution cost of 12.5 crs, the share was 19 crs with a classification A (Semi Hit). Of course this was way back in 2003-04 but even after that they changed to a Hit. It was never a super hit. Could you please give us a link here where it says HSSH was a Super Hit. I don't remember seeing it SH anywhere on BOI. in 99, Biwi No 1 was a top grosser and it was merely a hit. So, HSSH can't be a superhit. If it's a BB according to new BOI then Biwi No 1 must be BB too. Do you believe that?

Even here, it is still a semi-hit with a new version of the site.

No, i trust BOI. The lifetime collections and new information on real collections change their verdict. Now, they are gaining more popularity so they might be in hold of new information regarding movie's collections.. nothing wrong with that. It is still the best source for real box office collections.

PS. BBB is also average. Its revenue was 3 times its cost. it's unbelievable but all other websites inflate the collections, it doesn't. Because BOI is the only website which actually is opened for BO collection statistics and all other websites (Koimoi, Bollywood hungama etc) are not, this is more trustable.
